Senate passes domestic violence bill

ISLAMABAD: The Senate has unanimously passed “The Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Bill 2012” yesterday.

The bill was moved by Nilofar Bakhtiar was supported by members representing all political parties in the House.

Mian Raza Rabbani introduced “The Industrial Relations Bill 20112” which was referred to the Standing Committee concerned.
