Punjab Govt determined to end corruption from province
RAWALPINDI: Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is determined to uproot corruption from the province and for this objective solid steps has been taken including the computerization of land record that will end corruption, bribe and forgery in the land matters.
Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Raja Hanif Advocate said the previous government of Punjab under sagacious leadership of Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has ensured transparency in all mega projects that was also admired by Transparency International and World Bank.
He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held here in connection with World Anti Corruption Day. Director Colleges Rawalpindi Humayun Iqbal and Principal Govt. Hashmat Ali Islamia Degree College, Rawalpindi Prof. Syed Muhammad Munir Ahmed Gilani besides college professors and a large number of students were also present on the occasion.
MPA Raja Hanif said that the previous government of PPP in the center has pushed Pakistani Steel Mills and others national institutions to the verge of destruction through corruption but with the installation of PML (N) government in the center the situation is improving rapidly and reports of the international institutions indicate that corruption has decreased.–APP
